I began this journey by learning about neurodiversity in high school as a volunteer through Special Olympics and tutoring other students in the community. I went on to get my bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. While I was a student, I had a part-time job helping with community-based services for neurodiverse populations. I later went on to become a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional. While I enjoyed helping others in this role, I missed the joy that came from one-on-one relationships and interactions.

The drive to get back into connected, meaningful work with people motivated me to get my Masters in Science in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University. Being able to help people find success in relationships, community engagement, work, school, play and daily living is my passion.

I have focused most of my career working with individuals with sensory processing disorders, Autism, traumatic brain injury and other developmental delays. I see both children and adults. I have been using sound-based therapies for over 17 years. I discovered early in my career that Craniosacral Therapy was an instrumental tool in helping clients’ nervous systems function effectively so that we could get to their goal and desires more efficiently.

I strive to treat each of my clients as an individual and serve their needs and interests. I enjoy educating and working with families. I also love incorporating Craniosacral Therapy into my job as an Occupational Therapists. Being able to support the nervous system at its core is crucial to being able to reach higher goals of regulation, connection, attention and focus.
